Match reviews to the right products
Product mapping is the hardest part of a reliable migration. Match store products by trustworthy IDs or documented SKU relationships, reconcile variants and avoid assigning feedback to unrelated products.

Preserve authenticity and SEO relevance
Imported feedback should retain provenance, not be rewritten into five-star endorsements. Accurate visible reviews and structured data can help Google understand individual products without creating contradictory AggregateRating values.

Frequently asked questions
Can I import CSV reviews into Cartnio?
Yes. Upload a CSV export from your previous provider on the Import reviews page. Cartnio matches the columns automatically, keeps original dates and ratings, and never labels imported reviews as verified purchases. Keep your original export as a backup.
What fields should a product reviews CSV contain?
At minimum, the source product identifier, review title/text, rating, reviewer name and date. Preserve verification evidence, media references and consent records where available.
Will migrating reviews preserve Google stars?
No platform can guarantee star rich results. Ensure genuine reviews remain visible on the correct products and that your on-page Product/AggregateRating schema remains accurate.
